Ahh yeah the beginning does sound empty. I'm also not a huge fan of the higher octave triangle synth you bring in. The melody doesn't work for me. The bassline and production is good, though. Maybe a bit too much lush with the FX in the background. Again, that higher octave instrument is very distracting! Takes away from the groove. The composition is also not striking a chord with me at all. Then that higher synth comes back in... argh! Good production effort, but I don't like the arrangement or composition. The bassline is decent!
