I really hate the intro sound, but it could be made interresting, and the intro as such are not completely off. The vocal samples are muddy, muddy does not equal "psychedelic" this is a common misunderstanding hehe. Its a great bassline you have made, not for the genre as such, but its a funky bassline and i would love to hear it reintroduced in a breakbeat track
The trick to do really good "psy drives" is to put the bass like this k = kick b= bass
K B B B K B B B K B B B K B B B K B B B...
Use 32/4 notes for the bass, and spice it up with the odd 16 here and there for a slide or whatever.
Try to eq them (k+b)together so they complement eachother and doesnt fight for space in the soundscape. A lot of producers sidechain the bass and the kick. Personally i find no need for it, but admit that its effective.
Make a massive bassdrive in the track. Kick and bass is the driving force, remember that, and then simply cut the lower frequency bands on most other sounds that you use on top of the "drive".
Use more "sounds" in your mix. Not more leads, or melody, but sounds. Get hold of "Glitch vsti", its free, and try and run leads, beats whatever through it, it is the source of many funny samples, breaks etc. It can be a troll to get good stuff out of, but its worth it.
For second try its not at all bad and it is obvious that you have some talent to work with, but you need to work on the basics of the genre a lot. PM me for help if you need it, or use this thread
