have any of you used emusic.com before? there's a few CDs i want that are available on there (they aren't available through iTunes Plus and 128kbps just sucks) but i was curious if anyone had any firsthand experience with using that site. i was just gonna sign up for one month, get the tunes, and then cancel my account.

yeah i decided to go ahead with it. $10 for 80 songs just seemed like too good of a deal to pass up, and they have a pretty unique selection of albums.
as far as quality goes, their mp3s are VBR, which is good enough for me. i just can't justify spending $10 for an album off iTunes where all the tracks are 128kbps quality, and not everything on there is available via iTunes Plus which is 256kbps. i'm not one of those people who bitches about being able to tell the difference between bitrate, but 128 definitely sounds like shit imo.
