I love the space the synth(distorted percs?) gets around the 10-11second mark, it's a lot like the VOOOOWWMMM-synth of the original edit of Jesselyn - Celestine.
If you got the time, be sure to take a listen as it contains primarily the same elements as this track. As well as the guiding pads that create a sort of dark harmony.
The bass rolls along pretty nice in the break, although I hear you using a clap sounding the start of the pads harmony, thats sounds very plastic, and it could do well with very little decay on the reverb.
the voice is pretty cool, I like the main idea of this, but a voice like that makes tracks feel a little cheezy, in combination with the pads, it sounds very 1990.
On the other hand you''ve got that guitarry synth playing, which does help making it sound original.
(I know these aren't the right terms but my english isn't quite perfect) I like the melody you got going on, the chord progression sounds very logical, but it's hard to remember, therefore it's a step away from 'breaking through'.
After the climax, it seems the kick loses it's punch quite a bit, could be my headphones i'm listening on.
But ofcourse all my awesome tracks sound pretty awesome on them. Nice work of fx's, nice drive throughout the entire tune. and a very mixable outro.
Keep up the good work! |
hey man i dont know whether to take you seriously or not...
