Pacemaker Pocket DJ System
Been checkin this toy out for a little while now and after tax returns looks like I can finally pick one up. Anyone own one or have any experice with one? Checked out the very informative website (pacemaker.net) and it looks very capable of most of the features any modern DJ system contains. Any info helps...thx

Check out ellaskins (DJ Tutor) on youtube. He's done a bunch of vids on it.
It looks really cool and intuitive, but I just dont know what I'd use it for on a regular basis. I suppose I could justify it instead of getting a new IPod or something, or if I took public transportation on a regular basis.

yeah i dont think im ganna get one anytime soon....id always rather have a full setup with me, and like unless im really bored on a long flight then i dont really see when i would want one...even so id rather not go through the effort of DJing on a long trip, id rather just listen to other sets and relax

unless you've been DJing for a little bit and beatmatching really isnt a problem?

I see it as merely a good time killer. There's no professional use in this.

Would be very fun for car trips. For $300 US I'll buy, but for the current price hell no!

i've got one and love it. I travel loads for work so its great for the lonely hotel room nights. as far as its going to take over, i dont think so at all, its a handy toy to practice and experiment with mixes when u can access a full setup. I prefer playing with my 1200s but they r a bit tough to pack up and travel with. A bit pricey but worth it if you travel lots.

i'd rather buy an asus eee pc and just run traktor on it or something.
this pacemaker toy is a complete rip off. i wouldn't even buy it if i was rich, seems like such a useless piece of shit.

Tried it a couple of weeks ago (drunk though, lol).
And what I really disliked is that you, of course, are limited to only do one thing at a time.. reminded me of the old days when when I tried to mix using my keyboard and mouse on a PC
