Sorry 4 my bad English ) I'm just learnin'
There R 2 ways to match the beat.
The first is 'timestretchin'. You'd find the loop and 'timestretch' it with any wave-editor. Or ReCycle, or Beat Slicer... No matter.
Another way to mix the track... is more complex to do. But it's a really good way to use some acapellas. Especially if they're 3/4 or if you want to save original vocal pitch&tempo. You'd know that 4/4 beat half-bar 140 BPM lasts 1,714 sec. (136 BPM - 1,765, 132 - 1,818 ) as they said 'anyone who has intelligence may interpret the number of the... beat )))
So, you should cut it creatively )) to find short cut that lasts 1,714 sec, or may be 0,857, 0,4285, or may be even 3,428 or 6,856. They'll match 140 BPM. The shorter cut is more matchin)))
Then you place these cuts in your mix... Open your ears. Forget about 4/4 grid. Place cuts by timeline, edit sample envelope, may be useful to fade it in/out...
It's hard&boring as hell... But you'll like the result ))
