Obama vs McCain

Clinton is technically done so who are you guys going to vote for?

McCain's speech
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A7RuX4pQPLY
Delivered to a few hundred supporters

compared to

Barack's speech
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xxa0ihsoiYI
Delivered to 32,000 supporters

McCains speech is like watching a comedy. The expressions on his face...priceless.

You put these two next to one another on a stage the differences will be even more glaring.

We gotta stop choosing our leaders based on their speeches and what we think they seem like based on the media. We already made that mistake with Bush, and look where it landed us. I put my choice for Barack, cos I'm voting for him, but I think he's the lowest common denominator as far as the choice is concerned...

Better than "sniper fire" clinton. I would've had to vote McSame if that tragedy happened.

To be fair, the media sure made Dubya look like an idiot in 2004

McCain. My future looks grim if Obama gets the White House.

Well that's your opinion, and I disagree, but I will say both of them (Clinton and Obama) were, as I said before, the lowest common denominator of the choices... I think we had some of the best choices this year, and leave it up to Iowa to fuck it up. If people really wanted "change", they woulda voted Kucinich or Paul, but no, it's an American Idol day-in-age and that's what people have made this 2008 primary turn into, a beauty contest over who sings (makes speeches) better.

But, on any note, Obama for Pres. 2008! lol... Nothing more to say other than, I sure as hell do not want McCain in office.

What are you talking about?

I think you should look a little at the bigger picture and not just at your career plans, which I'm sure are not worth giving up just because of a new president. Come on, this is your passion, and you're not gonna fight for it because of some presumptive policy changes (that might not even happen, as most policy changes don't)? Either way I have no idea what you're talking about, so please explain.

Not only is it naive to expect that your life will be better under McCain, it's naive to expect that Obama's policies will be so influential as to somehow completely doom your future (?)

The only bad part about Obama is that if he were to get elected, we would see the largest secret service force for a president. Personally i just think it would be a hazard to elect Obama based on national security issues. However i can't wait to see the debates between him and McCain. If we judge solely by appearance this is going to be like the Kennedy, Nixon debates; Kennedy(Obama) comes off as cool, calm and collected while Nixon(McCain) is sweating and stuttering.

So you think our national security would be in jeopardy because of his policies or because he is of another ethnicity? Honestly if terrorists want to do something to us, they will find a way, no matter how much money we dump into our Homeland Security BS.
