So in the Beatport Checkout you got 320kb/s MP3, WAV and MP4. I know WAV is 1441kb/s (cd quality), and is thus (somewhat) better than MP3, but what is the MP4 format? Wav costs more than MP3, but MP4 is the same as MP3. Why is this?

I always thought that they were the same quality but mp4 is smaller in size or something not sure.
