Thanks for the response. Yes I do have an idea of how to make it. I wasn't sure if there was anything special I needed to do, like drill holes in certain places for the power cords, etc.

Well, you can put holes for power cords wherever you like, there's no standard.
If I were you, and I wanted to make a really good job of it, I wouldn't drill holes for cords at all. Instead, think about fitting connectors onto the back of the coffin for power and audio output.
I did this on my flight cases for my Technics, and it worked really well. I've got an XLR output for the audio (one pin for common ground, one for left, one for right, and the outer is the ground for the TT) and a standard kettle lead for the power.
If you were doing this for a coffin, then all you would need is one power input, and just run the two TT's and the mixer off this in parallel inside the coffin, and one XLR output for the audio, as it is already mixed.
