Exclamation New Trance Remix Test - Feedback Please! (192k Sample)

Here's a little something I'm putting the finishing touches to which should be surfacing later on this year.

Melody, string and pad-wise, it's based largely on the original as it is a remix; but I've added brand new bass, kick and percs plus a sprinkling of other juicy bits to spice it up a little . . .

listening :-
good bass but a bit to powerfull
i like the good fx use

overall good but the bass in the track interferes with some parts of it

production wise and the mix ,i think is spot on

good luck with it

Thanks mate, appreciated! It's all wrapped up in Reason, most of it in Combi patches.

I've used two main trance basses, Pandemonium and Nautica, with a second Nautica giving those off beat 'squelchy' bass stabs.

Should be able to balance it all out more equally with a little bit more mastering.

Alright mate. Good to see the label is healthy.

I'd have to disagree with the bass being a bit too powerful. It doesn't dip the rest of the track or interfere and so is fine to my ears (& HD215's.)

I think there could be a little too much resonance on some of your filters which imbalances some of the EQ'ing but all in all I'm loving this. (Think there may be an automation click at the start of the bass dive..)

Proper banging tune. Big atmosphere in the break too. Woop!

New sample uploaded ... Click Here.

I've rearranged the whole break, retwisted and rebalanced the basses, put in a synth instead of the piano strikes towards the end, EQ'd the percs again and done a few other bits too.

Gonna road test it on a big system at Essence this Saturday night, so maybe some final tweaks to come.

Was sitting here and thinking to myself, damn this sounds familiar... then I realsied I did one of the remixes for this too he he.

Nicely done and the bass isn't too over the top at all.

Thanks for sharing.
