I think there amazing on the radio.but when they do gigs they play vocal gay trance. why is that ?

Why do they change there stlye. radio/gig

Haven't seem them live yet, going to next month though. Hope they're good. I never listen to "Future sound of Egypt" so have no opinion there

when you step back and listen, the change is minute

I think they used to be better a while back. Now a days their track selection is stale with little to no variety and I grow tiresome of hearing these lackluster tracks. Production wise Thebes and and Eye of Horus were their best ever productions.

I think they're distinctly average and always have been. Eyes of Horus was saved by a good Ronski Speed remix at a time when he was producing nice stuff. However being from a 'developing' country music wise, they're going to have a lot of support from within as pioneers for their countrymen/women on some level, it's always happened, americans always big up their own djs, other countries did, and a lot from the middle east/australia/asia/south america are doign the same. It doesn't mean that a lot of us don't find it shit however

Absolutely pathetic. Same presets, same swirling pads, same piano-ish sound, just a few note changes here and there, another kick preset used and hey presto, a new production.

They spammed a similar 3-hour set on TranceCritic's forums. I usually don't check them out but, for some reason, I did this one.

Here's what I had to say of it:

With their audience reduced to either standing still with their arms in the air or hopping in one spot with their fist pumping the air, it keeps the crowd well under control, thus reducing hazardous things like unfunky people trying to dance. -No matter how many times I thought the set might take off for something more interesting, Aly & Fila manage to bring it back to status quo with an overblown poor-man's Vangelis/Kitaro/Tesh ambient interlude. They always managed to trick me! I am not one easily fooled, but they did it. -How can you NOT be impressed with all those effects, man? They're, like, big, and loud, and... um... BIG... and... um... um... DUDE, those effects!!! What do you mean there's no melody? -By making sure every track is nearly a carbon copy of the previous one, time itself ceases to exist, as you are caught in some kind of time-loop. Somehow, someway, Aly & Fila managed to create this loop, as I'd swear to God I heard the track over and over. -This is more on the producer's end with these songs. It's nice to know that some of them are getting ass by letting these horrible singers add vocals to their songs. At least, I HOPE they're getting some ass out of the deal... -Aly & Fila display an incredible ability at mixing uplifting melodic trance into melodic uplifting trance, and then back into uplifting melodic trance again. It takes real skill to play these highly differing styles of music together.
