Multi-Vitamins, Suppliments, GNC, etc. Does it work?
Hey I'm just wondering if anyone here is a nutritionist or anything related and have any input on those multi-vitamins you buy at GNC or those sports stores with huge tubs of protein.
Or if anyone personally uses any of these stuff and have anything to add.
Today I went to GNC to get some Glutamine because my legs are really sore from multiple days of volleyball in a row. So while I was in there I saw this GNC Megamen multi-vitamin thing so I bought it.
I'm just wondering if people actually do feel a difference, considering I spent about 70 bucks today on these stuff.

I and some of my friends around me have used protein powder. From what I saw, it definitely worked, and allowed us to build more muscle mass. You could drink one of those shakes, or you could just eat a boneless, skinless chicken breast. They about about the same amount of protein, but the shake costs far less.

They do what they're supposed to do, as long as you're doing what you're supposed to do. You can't drink protein shakes and stay inactive and think you're going to grow muscle. You will only add fat.
Know what the supplement does and why it does it, and then figure out if you need it or not.
When it comes to multivitamins, most of those vitamins you already have enough. Which is why your pee may turn different colors. Knowledge is power when it comes to nutrition.
Also if you're going to take roids, always use a clean needle.
and always shoot up in the bum and the web of your toes.

multi vitamins is a must. especially if you are doing heavy lifting and training frequently for a sport. The gnc mega men multi's are actually one of the best ones out there given their price.
glutamine you really dn't need. protein helps as a supplement.
if you want to know more about supps, i suggest looking at the bodybuilding.com supplements forum.

If your just starting out multivitamins and protein are a good start.
GNCs Mega Men is a great one. I suggest Optimum Nutrition as a protein brand.
