yes, get a custom made mouth guard that most dentists can do for you. you could be wearing down your teeth and you could actually end up with TMJ which sometimes requires surgery.

I have severe case of it, wears the fuck out of my teeth, i need a jaw op but they won't do them until your BMI is 30 or below nowadays. I had a mouth guard made and it was awful, so thick & plastic and impossible to keep in the mouth.

I've noticed that sometimes I grind my teeth heavily during a dream, and even for a minute or two right after I wake up from said dream. Only happens every now and then.
