Endre, the most important connection between the universe and the trance music occurs in a human's mind, for the connection is one that progressively ranges from the purely physical to the psychological/intellectual to the transcendental/spiritual. To explain, when one begins the initial trance listening experience his or her brain instantly forms a sensory connection with all the music's instrumental and vocal elements, including rhythm, timing, harmony, melody, bass, synths, repetition, and so on and so forth. The brain's interpretation of these cosmically regulated elements in turn stimulates the brain's emotional centers and effects an irrational response that causes the listener to either form an affinity for or aversion to the music. Subsequently, if the listener likes what he or she hearing, the pleasure centers of his or her brain will continue being stimulated and the listener will likely soon be looking for ways to sustain and increase the derivative pleasure by manipulating his or her listening experience. One of the ways in which this manipulation occurs is through control of the music itself--for example, turning up the volume or even mixing the musical composition itself. Another form of manipulation occurs when the listener begins to mentally weave visual imagery into the musical harmony thereby orchestrating an even broader more pleasureful sensual experience. Yet for some listeners there is also the need to form a higher, more intellectual connection with the music so as to extract even higher greater more sophisticated degrees of satisfaction from the listening experience. In this case some listeners will begin weaving in short dramatic fantasies or begin attaching special personal meaning to the music. And so it is at this point that the listener supplements more and more the baser sensual pleasures with the more intellectually-driven satisfactions. But still, some trance lovers are of such state of mind that they wish to take the music to the deepest most provocative areas of their mind where their thoughts and imaginations can weave in the otherwordly, spiritual, transcendental elements that trance is so often associated with, elements that serve as a catalyst to passionately elicit the heart's strongest most poignant emotions and fill the mind with powerfully ethereal ideas and images, altogether causing one's spirit to escape its material reality so as to flow freely and vicariously through its mind's cosmos. The spirit cannot escape forever, however, for once the emotional climax has been reached and the music has ended, the listener returns back the sober reality of being just another infinitesimal speck in the eternity of universe. But the listener will soon repeat the whole trance experience over again, and thus the whole trifecta connection between trance and mind, between mind and universe, between trance and universe will repeat again as well, both in the universe itself and in that universe which we call mind.

Yea, that's true, i'm glad i don't need a "catalyst" to enjoy what trance has to offer.

But i don't think Palivar was refering to that kind of catalyst,
Is that all you think about butterfly
j/k

I think Palivar is trying to act all sacred and royal by not replying and sharing some comments on what he wrote...
