We have a show here called "The Einstein Factor" where people can choose a specialised topic for their first 20 questions, before all three contestants compete over a mix of the three topics to see who will win, with a "brains trust" team against them.
Usually people have personal topics like "World War II", "Belgian Beer", "The Simpsons" or "Jeffrey Archer novels".
I was just watching some guy who's topic tonight is "World Of Warcraft". He's like 30 years old with a ponytail half way down his back, a cheesy arse velvet jacket and spotty skin.
Questions run along the lines of:
Host: What level must an elder mage...(gets cut off)
Geek: 27
Host: Correct
Host: The Elder Scrolls are said to be found in...(gets cut off)
Geek: The Blackwind Forest
Host: Correct
Host: A pantagonian fire spell can only be defea...(gets cut off)
Geek: A level 34 magic missile spell reaved with elven water
Host:...correct.
...and so on and so forth.
Let's just hope the geek doesn't start hyperventilating and pass out when he hits the lead.
COR version: The World of Warcraft player stereotype is COMPLETELY true.
I wouldn't dare to show my face in public after expressing knowledge of WoW on a TV show. Come to think of it, I wouldn't even dare to show my face in public if i was merely playing WoW.

I'm pretty sure that clip is from a different episode, after reading beat Blog's post I tuned in to tonights (the only advantage of 30 min timezones), and it was a different brains trust.
Tonights must have been some sort of final and that clip from an earlier heat episode.
I didn't actually get to see him on tonight, 2 minutes was enough for me to remind myself why I don't watch that show.

Trying it out right now. Hope it's the right one, at least it shows WoW as a subject in the episode.

How did you dig that up?
I can't believe that kid is only 18! As I said, thought from his voice that he was around 30.
