Need DJs to spin at an open art studio for the Queen West Art Crawl
Hey everyone,
My art studio is part of the Queen West Art Crawl this Sat and Sun and
we are looking for any DJs that might want to spin.
For those of you who arn't familiar, the Queen West Art Crawl is held annually with the main area being at Trinity Bellwoods Park. This year, Walnut Studios (home to a collective of about 40 local artists) is participating in the art crawl by showcasing work and holding an open studio. We are located about 5 min directly South of Trinity Bellwoods Park at 83 Walnut Ave.
Anyone who is interested please let me know in this thread or by PM. Right now it looks like we are looking for people on Saturday from 12pm-6pm but Sunday afternoon might be an option as well. Our art collective is donating our own money to promote this event so unfortunately we can't afford much but I can arrange to bring some free drinks for any DJs who would like to participate.
Available equipment:
I have 2 Tech 12s,a Xone 32 mixer, Tannoy powered speakers and access to a mac laptop. Any other equipment is quite welcome.
Any genre is welcome
We plan for this to be great exposure for all artists involved... both visual and musical
