Why is it so bloody expensive? Better question is, why isn't it covered by OHIP? More I think about this, more I'm wondering why BASIC medical needs, like eyeglasses, dental care aren't covered. So much for socialist medical care. Thank goodness work covers my dental expenses like 90% (I think). Still need to get a root canal done and I shudder to think how much that will cost. Moral of the story: OHIP sucks. Oh, and floss and brush your teeth daily

How are dental and glasses essential for life??? Thats their argument... And the government subsidizes some of the cost if you need them to don't they??? Anyway...Whatever....I have insurance...

my work is soo amazing,, i get 100% coverage.. and if i want braces (which i plan on getting in the future) they cover 1/2 of the price! YAY for benefits !

So you have to go to the dentist every once in a while... Won't cost that much if you take good care of your teeth...
