Also I already googled the error and know what it says about that but let me reiterate that the songs play and in the middle of them they just stop and the error code pops up. These are tracks bought directly from beatport, not encoded by me, and I always burn at 12x. Just some more info for anyone trying to help.

The CD's aren't scratched are they? How long have you had your CDJ's for? Try a Lens cleaner disk. |
Its not the cds as ive said I have reburned the cds, I've tried practically everything and it just doesn't make any sense.
I've had my decks since the 5th of July.
I do always play with them in my flight case just because the angles are better for my back, etc. Heat could not be a factor could it?

Heat COULD be a factor. The 1000's don't get terribly hot though, and lots of people run them in cases.
It's on BOTH decks? That would rule out that one is "broken", as it's unlikely they are BOTH "broken".
You might want to try some other media. Also, on some of the newer burners burning at slower than the "optimal" speed can actually CAUSE problems. The whole "burn it slower and it'll be more reliable" isn't really the case with modern burners.
Maybe try playing some commercially pressed CD's?

Oh, absolutely DO NOT use a lens cleaner disc, particularly in the CDJ's. It says it right in the manual NOT to use these.
A. They don't work.
B. CDJ's spin the discs much faster than a regular CD player, and the lens disc could damage the player.

Well I now know that its happening at certain points in certain songs. It is NOT random like I thought.
I was burning at 52x when I first got them and had small problems from time to time so I now burn at 12x, through itunes.
I got them in early July.
I received an email back from pioneer and they said if its not a media problem that it's the laser that has an issue.
But my new predicament is this. If it's doing it on the same tracks over and over it lessens the likelihood of it being a cdj problem. The thing I cannot wrap my head around is how in the hell these cds play 100% fine in my laptop but then on the cdjs error codes are coming up. It should be the other way around naturally right? Aren't the cdjs superior to computer drives?
