I'll post here instead of the other thread.

Looked at Yelp for info on Otis Lounge. It's close to Montgomery BART Station. Maiden Ln is just off Kearny at Market. Reviews on Otis Lounge were somewhat mixed as to service and drink prices but we're talking a Union Square crowd. Nearly everyone mentioned the decor, most calling it "sexy". There's apparently an impressive Peacock over the bar and the artwork on the walls seems to impress. There's also an upstairs.





I actually got a youtube video first in the results on google. Thought I'd share it since I thought it was kind of interesting music - some dude called "The Genie". He's performing at Decompression. I think I'll try to catch him. Might be of interest to the minimalist crowd.

it's a small venue, but it works out like a house party and the decor is mad trippy!

Nice pics Rich. These really show the venue and the DJ set up much better than the ones from yelp. Have a good time this weekend.

i went here after last decembers golden gate dirty bird party, but by the time i arrived i wasnt in shape to party. the couch is way comfortable, was able to sleep on that, but watch out for the chandelier on the way out!

haha, those damn chandeliers always have a way of jumping at ya after a long weekend of partying - one more week my brotha.
