I dont think anybody cares..... Cops wont waste their time over someone who is playing music that was downloaded if thats what you are afraid of.

yeah i thought so, but what about promoters? club owners? people from the industry? don't they care if the DJs in their club is playing legally or not?

That would only matter if you plan on deducting tax from bought tracks... so no that shouldn't be a problem either.

I've read somewhere that in airports during check ins to flights they are making problem with burned CDs, anyone know about this?

Haven't been into trouble with my cd's thus far. I don't take the invoice's with me either for my burned cd's/tracks. Had to open up my cd case last time I flew to another country (still within EU though), but they weren't impressed by those 64 burned cd's hehe.

Ive heard stories of places in europe that simply will not allow you to use a laptop while you spin to decrease the likelyness that youre using pirated music.

Too bad theres more than a few DJs that will spin out with just about anything they can get for a hook up..

i see no point in that, cds are as easy to burn as bringin in a laptop, whats the difference?

Actually there was a thread about this a while back, but can't find it now.

I wouldn't worry too much as you have the receipts and it's not your fault audiojelly have a crap receipts system. you can prove you paid for you tracks and that's all that will count.

This is not much of big deal - I really think they are after people who do this in large numbers (pirates, illegal websites etc.) and it's not worth their time in the big picture to go after the odd DJ with a couple of hundred illegal downloads.

....however, there is one story that springs to mind, where they were basically making an example of this guy to send a scare through the industry. It was blatently pushed by the RIAA or PRS (or similar) to try to send a message and he was an idiot, but none the less, the guy got seriously fucked:

and BTW how can you prove you bought the tracks from audiojelly if it is not stated in the receipt? sounds weird...
