I just got to Barcelona and I will be here until the middle of December. I want to know which bars/clubs spin trance in the area. If there are some veterans out there, please help me out and give me some info about the scene. I would love to know a few solid bars to go to and a few clubs as well.

El loft en Barcelona es uno de los lugares con los mejores line-ups de la escena underground. pacha en barcelona tambien atrae a bastantes hipsters.

agree with diggerz, the Loft in Razmatazz club is probably the best. there is also another good club, called Apollo, sometimes they have minimal nights, which are good. you have to check who is playing before you go though! another good place is Discoteque, it´s a club on Montjuic, music is usually pretty good.

Do you know of any lounges though besides clubs? I would love to head somewhere for some drinks before the clubs.

i can´t think of any lounges near those clubs. the loft and discoteque are not really surrounded by anything. apollo is not too far away from barceloneta, where you can find some nice bars and lounges. sometimes we go to shoko or opium mar before going out(they are both located on barceloneta beach). you can sit on the couches outside and enjoy a beautiful seaview. they are nice lounges

Discothèque is situated in Calle Tarragona not in Montjuic... Catwalk, City Hall, Otto Zutz, Sala Bikini, Danzatoria...

Lounge clubes -> Shoko, Carpe Diem, Opium Mar, Buddha... that are all lounge clubs I can remember.
