King [G] "Crisis Puts Warren Buffett top of rich list again."

The financial turmoil has swept the title of America's richest man out of Bill Gates's hands and handed to his old buddy and Warren Buffett.

According to reports overnight, US magazine Forbes has recalculated the respective wealth of the richest 400 Americans following the turmoil in September and found that the Sage of Omaga fared rather well. His fortune swelled by $8bn (£4.68bn) to a robust $68bn during the month, thanks to a surge in the value of his Berkshire Hathaway empire.

If you are interested in learning more about the 'real traits' of a 'millionaire' which are, for the most part, conservative values based on saving an moderate spending during early-adulthood (well, i tried to write somethin' witty here but that's all i could come up with this morning)

I consider Warren Buffet to be my modern-day Plato. And Benjamin Graham is the Socrates.

Perhaps, but only in the materially obsessed but spiritually and intellectually devoid/deprived perspective of early 21st century, Pre-NAU America.

For some reason I completely doubt that either Warren Buffet or Benjamin Graham have even the remotest idea of that which comprises the twelve Mysteries (which Plato was keenly aware of.) But then again, I could also be completely wrong and maybe they do.

Apparently, you missed the point. Socrates could be considered the father of Greek philosophy. Plato was his student, and himself, a great philosopher. I simply made an analogy, as Benjamin Graham is the father of the fundamental analysis and value investing. Warren Buffet studied under him at Columbia University, and then became a billionaire based on the principles taught by Benjamin Graham in his books, Securities Analysis, and The Intelligent Investor...
