Rip the CD onto your computer using your preferred media player. If you have iTunes, you can just pop the CD in and right-click > Convert selection to MP3 (As long as you have set it to import files as MP3s).

Seriously, download iTunes and use that. One thing is IS good for is ripping CDs. Just make sure you change the preferences first so that you are ripping MP3 not AAC, and turn on the setting that makes it rip scratched discs better, can't remember what it's called.

What type of file is in the CD that you want to convert to mp3? eg; FLAC, AAC, WAV etc.

It was an mp3 on my buddies comp and i burned it as a regular uadio cd.

ok so you burned an mp3 into the CD...then it should still be an mp3.

so just send? Go to my computer, locate the drive of your CD, save the file from the CD to your computer and send it?

no need to do this, he said it was already an mp3. Thats why I asked what kind of audio file it is and he said it was an mp3 from his buddy's comp.
