Anthony Attalla returns to Montreal for his residency at Circus Afterhours on Saturday November 15th!
2008 year in review:
For Anthony, 2008 started with a “bang” and it has been a runaway locomotive speeding towards success ever since. In January, Anthony was asked to headline the Miami Groove Cruise with well-known artists, Robbie Rivera and Cedric Gervais, and his performance left everyone in awe. Shortly after, Anthony was also asked to play the Los Angeles Groove Cruise in July, making him the only artist requested to play both events in the 2008 calendar year. Continuing his successful residencies in Toronto, Montreal, Los Angeles, Detroit, and Cleveland, Anthony has also locked down new reoccurring gigs in Boston, Atlanta, and Miami. In addition, his schedule - which is typically booked solid three months in advance - has included Korea, Taiwan, and several additional North American cities such as Chicago, Charlotte, Buffalo, Indianapolis, and everywhere in between. Furthermore, his monthly party in Detroit, “Dirty Filthy Sexy,” just celebrated its two year anniversary. This is a testament to his hometown fans’ adoration and Anthony’s ability to keep a loyal following through the years despite his now global presence.
After two years of studying how to make music, Anthony is also beginning to make waves with his production. His original track, Obsidian, was featured on BBC 1 Essential Mix, was charted as Marco V’s #2 track for WMC 2008 and included in his “Amnesia Ibiza 2008” mix compilation, and will also be on the upcoming Perfecto Presents mix CD by Kenneth Thomas. His next major single release, Dope Rope, was picked up by Proton Records (Beatport’s #1 selling label) and his forthcoming production has been signed to well known labels such as Movement Music and System Recordings. In addition, he has done remixes for labels such as Definitive, Slanted House, Teggno, Audioholics, Don’t Look Productions, Proton, Sharpie Style and Bassbin Records (Bassbin Twins new label – 2008 launch). His collaborations with Producer, Christopher Norman are getting critical acclaim from artists such as Josh Gabriel and Mark Knight, and they were recently commissioned by Capitol Records to remix the Billboard #1 and iTunes #1 smash hit by Katy Perry, “I Kissed A Girl”, set for international release in South America, Asia and the UK in September 2008.
With new opportunities every week, Anthony is becoming one of the most “in-demand” artists in the EDM scene. His show-stopping energy and charisma, both while he is performing and in person, has placed him into the limelight and labeled as one of the “next generation” of stars to shape the electronic dance music scene.

Playing prog, trance and old school techno to amuse his friends (like myself  )
