Technical help needed (soundcard)
Ok I bought a Lexicon Omega Soundcard and having a few problems or questions anyway.
Its an outboard soundcard connected via usb. I installed the drivers and everything and it said completed fine but no sound was coming out so i went into control panel -> system and disables my old onboard sound realtek HD. Eveything started to work like I can hear the audio from my pc from my outboard card now.
When I go into cubase though and open an audio channel it still only says under channel
In: Stereo in
Out Stereo out (with a drop down menu saying left right)
And thats it but the soundcard I got has 2 mic inputs 4 bus inputs and some digital inputs 8 in total. Surely in cubase as in te studio in college I would have to set up what the hannel recieves and where it goes
For example my korg in on line 1 so should i not be able to select in cubase say inputs line 1 line 2 line 3 mic 1 etc etc instead of just stereo in is this cubase settings? I have switched the asio driver to the lexicon and its all showing up and sounds fine all my songs play ok.
I just want to record from different sources etc also if I have 4 line ins on the back is that actually 2 stereo line ins as there is only 4 1/4 inch jack inputs

Processing a highly structured and complex pattern of sensory input as a unified percept of "music" is probably one of the most elaborate features of the human brain.....understanding how music is perceived and how it may elicit intense sensations is far from being understood.
