man that sucks. i remember when i was finally leaving chicago transfering to virginia telefon tel aviv had a concert at millenium park and i missed it. that was around the time they remixed apparats 'arcadia'

man that really sucks... now im listening to arcadia and it hits me differently.

Fuck man I know how you feel. A few months back I was almost going to fly up to Chicago for the weekend to see Telefon Tel Aviv and The Flashbulb (Benn Jordan) at some lounge... I didn't end up going though and now I'm kicking myself :/

This has really hit me hard even though I didn't know the guy. His music oozed with emotion and his production skills were off the chart. I also never had the opportunity to see them live...I can't believe they were never booked to play in Dallas (to my knowledge).

TTA's sickest release and the one that got me to listen to them more often was with one of my favorite vocalists ever, Esthero.

Telefon Tel Aviv - Too Rude

They've got too many good releases...but I just checked discogs and didn't see them credited on that track (which only appears on a full-length Esthero album). Did they do a remix?

Actually Esthero remixed + vocalized the track.
