Help with saw lead

Any idea how to create a similar lead sound to this?

Not the piano the saw lead

It would be great if anyone could help to create this sound in any of these vsts:

v-station, gladiator, blue, vanguard, albino, zeta, or sylenth1,

Most of those synths have a sound similar to that, but to actually make it sound like that will require a bit more work and a bit more processing/equipment than just the softsynth itself. That said, a trance knowledged producer here might be able to help you get the basic sound. good luck!

ok just kiding.. I think this can be best in Vanguard due to it's metalic flavor.. some eq to remove the lows.. and it's ok for me..
maybe the original artist used vanguard..

the most important thing in this basic type of sound is not how it sounds so identical, but how do you play it.. So music is more important than audio here..

It sounds like standard detuned JP-ish supersaw lead with some delay and possibly some added white noise (?). Sounds like they're using the mod wheel to close down the cutoff freq at 0:38 and possibly also bringing the decay down on the envelope. Albino3, Vanguard, Gladiator, V-Station, etc. all should do this with ease and probably already have a bunch of very similar factory presets. Start with a noisy detuned multi-saw sound, shape the amp envelope get the pluck, modulate the filter by velocity and shape the filter envelope to open and close accordingly.

As someone else mentioned, it's probably easiest to dial in the envelope settings if you have the same notes playing. Try sequencing the same pattern of notes first: It sounds like the chords are:

||: Eb (add 9) | Eb (add 9) | F (add 9) | Gmin (add 9) :||

(or some variation of this)

This is very easy with a Virus TI. Should be possible with a JP-80X0 too.
On the software side... Try Synth1 or any other VSTi with a supersaw.

Probably a Virus but sounds like Vanguard yeah.

Thing with this lead isnt just the sound, but you have to mix it right too.

Its a saw, take various saws and then unison them.

Edit the adsr , turn the substain to 0 and mess with the decay.

and not to mention , the oct must be correct too.

Its the short and plucky preset on vanguard..

And btw, nice song!

Yah, I knew it sounded too good to be a softsynth.
