So I have a chunk of Health Spending money from my work insurance that i need to use up by March 1st and I was thinking about getting a new pair of spare glasses. Does anyone have any optical store recommendations in North York (along Yonge St.) or anywhere downtown that stock a lot of nice frames and different styles worth checking out? Thanks for your suggestions.

Kudos to you for knowing how your benefit plan works.
A friend of a friend owns a shop on Dundas near Spadina. I can't think of the name of it to save my life but I get all of my sunglasses there.

Bathurst & Steeles - I believe it's called Barclay's Optical or something like that, the plaza where Shoppers and Country Style is
their prices are pretty good and the eye exam is free/included with the work they do

The only really solid places I know are Queen West.
