The back quarterlight window of our 2005 Civic was smashed last night by a crack head wanting the $2 in change out of the console. Needless to say, we’re not very happy but if any of you can recommend a cheap glass place, it will take the edge off a little.
Before you all give me a hard time, it was literally a loonie and some small coins. They left the stereo, Diesel sunglasses and a $200 new hairdryer on the back seat!?!?!?

If they took the hairdryer, that would really blow.
I replaced a cracked windshield paying cash from a small independant window glass place in Aurora (Aurora Auto Glass, don't know if they moved or went under). For insurance claims, they would have charged the insurance company over $500. I paid cash, and paid $190.
For a side window, it's cheapest for you to drive your car to them and pay cash. Many include driving right to where your car is parked at your office while you work. Very convenient (I had it done like that once after a similar break-in). I paid about $75 for a rea-passenger window installed, but that was nearly 10 yrs ago.

I can't remember the name it was a while ago, but I simply picked up the yellow pages and called a 24/7 service randomly. they came to my place and fixed it on the spot. It cost me $200.00
