i tried some soundscaping here. instead i got a massive system overload on my old shitty 1,4 ghz athlon, so i had to finish this at a pretty early stage. headphones recommended:

I like the little progression you have here. The high res sound at the beginning seems too loud to me. The tune has a nice atmosphere all around, though. I could see it being used in a sci-fi movie.
It would be cool to see it expanded; you could use that last distorted bit to take the track in a new direction.
Always nice to see more people posting ambient works.

yay thanks. i have no chance of working on this version anymore since i used the ableton live demo which doesnt allow saving of projects, but i made a 3min "middle-part" yesterday which i oldschool-2track-edited to the end of this "first part". unfortunately i dont find it very good at the moment, maybe im gonna make a third part and rearrange them or continue with something else. i think of something more "static" songwise, no chord changes at all, only fluctuation of sound. but very dense and with many layers (my poor computer).
always nice to get useful feedback, now im gonna check out your tracks!

Very nice progressions. Like horn type pad as well.
Could have done with a bit more low end in my opinion, but good work over all.
The track seemed to glitch a bit too, I know you mentioned you were using the demo though so I assume you must have recorded it as it played back live, not rendered.
Good work.

thanks for your comment and yeah, very well noticed. in the first 3-4 min there is one track sometimes skipping. however, the glitches in the end are intentional (beat repeat) to make everything less static. maybe im gonna do a third part some time...
