Im looking at buying a few odds n ends thru these cheap oem software sites where u download the stuff and it works out a lot cheaper because you dont get the physical manuals etc.

Almost never legal, you may as well just download a torrent.
If your going to spend money and be serious, then do it properly and get the support.
Why would it not be legal if a licensed distributor or the developer themself is offering it?

WTF!!! There's no such thing as OEM (original equipment manufacturer) software unless you are buying a fricken hard-drive!
I'd avoid, anytime a website or online retailer has that sort of web address its usually shady.

Not only does it NOT make any sense to the logic of OEM's, but it is also shady enough to cause something worse than a dirty conscience.
There's a LOT of 'legit' looking websites with fraudulent products. However, close investigation usually yields the truth... I mean, there's a lot of shady crap with Defender Pro, and that's one shitty antivirus program that can be found at your local Walmart for sale. The website looks keen for the first few visits. And the program is on sale at a friggen walk-in store (never mind the fact that Walmart is a Frankenstein monster in and of itself).
Some of those websites can also cause you to download a bot. You better do all of your "transactions" with a virus-checker handy (and don't use Defender Pro, kid).
Best of luck... cuz a sucker like you is gonna need it.
VSTs and sequencers are software. You download them with licenses off the actual developer's websites -- it's no different a product delivery than these OEM's boast. What makes you think that some other website-based company is going to purchase these software solutions in bulk so that they can install them in computers that they never sell? Are they going to install them on no-name computers, scrap them, and send you a hard drive with the program on it? Bullshit! It's just a play off of greed... all it takes is a a tiny stab of logic to hide a flaw the size of an elephant-turd-pile.
I'd actually have more respect for someone swiping the programs of ISOs in secret than giving pocket change to these arrays of thief-guilds. At least they are smart enough to know that they are pirating.

The above mentioned website is 100% fake. Adobe photoshop CS4 doesn't sell for anything less than 700 Euro in Europe and it's regular rice is around a 1000E yet they sell the entire adobe package (thats photoshop and a lot of other products as well) for less than $100 dollars. Can't be right. OEM versions can be bought, but only do so at licensed retailers or shops that are commonly known for being legit.
Oh, and the website is owned by a (White-)Russian guy. So much for stereotypes .
If less is more think about how much more more would be.

basically, it's the same as just going to piratebay and downloading from there, except you're giving money to some criminals in the way... WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!
