I have recently moved to Atlanta ...
I wanted to ask you guys if there are any places i can go to play futball ... Im dying to play
pickup soccer .. indoor or outdoors .. i dont care

I was just waiting for someone to ask. We used to do some pickup soccer games. I think Fong was the one organizing this. I am down for some play but honestly I am not sure where. we used to play at GT. I now there is an indoor facility on Cobb PKWY, but not sure if you need to sign up to play. Would anybody be interested in doing the same again? Would be nice. Holler.

if your intown, I know there is usually pick up on the huge artificial turf field at Tech, broke my ankle there a few year back! Downside, no parking near by, and Tech tickets like a motha

I might be down. I love footie, but am really out of shape and usually don't have time.

do you know if they still play there ??? people in general ? if so, when?

as for where Tech is, Midtown, LOL, it's like a square mile or so! Look it up on google and map it, then look at sat image, you'll see a large green fields just north of the pool, Most people play there not at burger bowl, which is just north of the artificial fields. West side of campus, near the pool, once your on campus you can't miss it.

Sundays there are usually people playing futty there... go check it out and join games, thats what we used to do.

Summer is coming up. There will still be games obviously.

But as the student population takes a noticeable dip, there will be a noticeable dip in availability of games.
