I'm planning to do some vocal tracks soon, but I was wondering; how did you guys (the ones who did vocal tracks) find your vocalist(s). Or do you all go searching on myspace and PM somebody..?

seriously tho, ask around. Friends should be your first choice... class-mates, work-mates... so on. Every-time someone is singing ... LISTEN!

soundclick.com and indabamusic.com are good sites to try. Use the forums on soundclick. Use the forums and the advanced artist search on indabamusic, have the filter set to vocals.
A buddy of mine found a male vocalist on garageband.com and completed 3 or 4 songs. I'm corresponding with a male vocalist I found on soundclick. Nothing finished yet, but hopefully soon. So far I've had 2 vocalists flake out on me, but I heard that's pretty common. You'll probably go through several before you find one that will stick around and finish a project.
Processing a highly structured and complex pattern of sensory input as a unified percept of "music" is probably one of the most elaborate features of the human brain.....understanding how music is perceived and how it may elicit intense sensations is far from being understood.

craigslist.org and myspace, or hitting up random girls at the mall and asking them if they sing. And then saying you are this big shot producer and you need a vocalist, no talent needed, just a nice round ass.

Or just contact these random spammers who claim to be singers all over the forums.
