For the longest time ever I have been lazy on putting out a mix worth sharing , finally got inspired last week and mixed this together all in one shot .
The main idea was to do a Tribal mix but with an updated sound so I finally came across with tons of great tunes that are combined with drums from many different parts of the world. The majority of the tunes are a combination of African - Caribbean beats with a Tech House groove which I'm really diggin At the moment. Overall I tried adding a summer feeling to it with a different style of mixing than from what I normally do .
I gotta to say a lot on influence from some Ta's on this mix
Hope you guys Enjoy it
Peace

any thoughts on this
Sorry dude, I've been a little slow in listening to TA mixes this past week even though I grabbed a lot of them. Next week though I should be getting through quite a few of them, and yours will definitely be part of that group

So contrary to what I stated earlier I actually decided to press play on this one today. Started listening while walking the dog and now just finishing it off at home. This is a really good set, man. I think it's the first time I've heard one from you but I'm quite impressed. Mixing and flow are both top notch, and while you used a few songs that are not too recent, the overall track selection was really just great. I never realized how nice version 2 of D.P.O.M.B. was, I only ever got the other one. Also, the layering of the tracks was a particular highlight for me.
Anyway this one's been lots of fun. My favorite tracks in there are the first and the ones with the speaking (where yo got the name, Shango from - what does that word mean anyway?).
Good stuff mate, try to post sets a little more often I'll definitely check them out.

Thank you so much Adam for your review, it really means a lot to me specially because like I said there is a lot of influence from some ta's like you and Jay on this mix .
I've being so much into Dixon since the beginning of 2009 def. one of my fav. producers/ djs , that i had to include some of his productions on a mix , that Dpomb ep was the starting point for this set, both tracks are great but that version 2 was what i was looking at when i started this
Shango is mentioned on the track "crushed" and is an "african indigenous deity' very much worshiped in Latin caribean countries. I just thought it sounded cool for a mix of this type
Again thanks for listening and taking your time to write a review
