Well, whatever monitors can be great, is there any technique to check it whether they sound as they should or somewhat inaccurate? I mean how can i be 100%sure that my speakers neither under- nor overrepresent frequency range? |
you can't
no monitors are 100% accurate

The thing is it seems to me that my speakers have too much highs. But i cant make sure whether it's so, cause i have nothing to compare with. Especially when i listen to radioshows or cd audio tracks (wma), i can even hear lots of different hisses and overall sound image sounds like very noisy during playback.

You know....I keep reading how important room acoustics are and you need this and that for your room, yet I see these vids with top producers in the studio and they have nothing, no bass traps. Interesting.

yep, the foam you see in a lot of studios is the cheap and easy way. not as good but does the job and will solve most problems. had a tiny oom at music college where they spent £10,000 on acoustics, all in the wall design and speaker mounts etc. sounded f**kin awesome in there and it was only about 10 x 15ft. really accurate response as well.
