I'm sure people will be torn between the two, my version is much more agressive while his version is more subtle and melodic. Either way I loved the song and this was an absolutely joy to remix.

Nice job my friend Very cool to hear my track reworked with such a different take, thanks for sharing.
I do love your distorted synths in the buildup, reminds me of Tiesto. Somehow retains the same feel of my version while sounding completely different, edgier (and you didn't even need a midi in the end!)
There are some EQ issues but I'm sure they'll be an easy fix if you were to go back and master it. The subby sine bass is too loud (mine had the opposite problem ha!) and you can hear some weird clipping/compression going on periodically because of this. In general the highs and lows are too loud while the midrange could use some fleshing out.
Great work again, you can sense some real power to this track despite the EQ issues, I'm stoked you took the time to remix it!

Glad you liked it, yeah there's probably some EQ issues. I guess I'm still working on perfecting my production skills, and I've been doing a lot of new things with it recently.

II'm not sure if its soundclicks quality or not but it really seems like you have a compressor or limiter over the track or on the main channel that is compressing way too hard, it just sounds extremely crunched together and distorted. I think you do need ot work on EQ and soem level issues.
However I think this is a nice shot at a more energetic side to the original, just needs some production work.
I do have a compressor over the main channel but if I recall it's extremely light compression. Later tonight I'll try to see what the problem is and I'll re-upload a better version, hopefully.
