On Friday, September 18, INCOGNITO Global proudly presents, "LADIES NIGHT: A Celebration of House & Techno" headlined by Spectral Sound's First Lady of Techno, KATE SIMKO (Ghostly Int'l, Spectral Sound, Kupei Musika, Traum, CHICAGO).
KATE SIMKO studied classical piano & photography at the University of Miami. After discovering Chicago House & Detroit Techno, Kate transferred to Northwestern University to study music technology, eventually teaching electronic music production. She became the musical director of 89.3 WNUR Radio in Chicago then moved to Chile to produce with Andres Bucci as Detalles (Traum , Kupei Musika). Due to the brilliant tracks they produced, Kate was named by URB magazine as one of the 'Next 100' artists. She was also voted as one of XLR8R Magazine’s Top 10 DJ's in Chicago. Since then she hasn’t looked back, signed by Ghostly International & Spectral Sounds and performing to thousands at festivals such as Mutek (Montreal and Chile), the DEMF (Detroit), Worldtronics (Berlin) and clubs like Fabric in London.
Supporting this night will be the talented DJ DORY and a special tag team set by DJ SYRENA vs KARIN BASH. Warming the night up with their opening set will be by MEGUMI SAN vs LACEY IQ.
