So we dug a bit deeper this time and are happy to introduce a couple of new faces to the Don’t Sleep Worldwide roster. We are very proud to introduce the one-and-only Armando Ramirez aka Mando Soria and rising Boston star, Tanner Ross.

Armando was born and raised in the Central Coast of California. In the summer of 2005 he moved to beautiful Santa Barbara where he began to DJ at local clubs and produce his interpretation of House and Techno music. Armando then relocated to Los Angeles in 2007, where he furthered his musical career by playing alongside some of the best underground DJ’s in the area and making appearances at some of the Left Coast’s most coveted parties.

After seeking out a couple of our previous releases, Mando wrote us a note and sent us two stripped down cuts of some really moody House and we just had to sign them! “Anciano” is a deeper affair with really solid groove and “Contra Gusto” goes a bit darker with creepy vocals and dramatic drums & effects. His sound design is very precise and it reminded us of a certain Boston-boy that we know. Naturally we had to ask Tanner Ross on for remix duties…

Tanner really needs no introduction as he’s been making waves on Dirtybird, Mothership, Freerange, and now Mobilee for the past couple of years. As one half of Voodeaux, and a Synthesis major at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Tanner has been on the cutting edge with very unique sounds for a while now and we’re proud to have him aboard for this release.

All 3 tracks are currently making the rounds with international players at the moment and have been getting some really positive feedback so far.
