well make sure you've got your i/o buffer set to 1024. If you still have problems try using the lighter effects. "Space Designer" is what's killing my processor.

i use camelspace and camelphat really heavily, as well as the psp vintage warmer.. i think that's what's making mine struggle..

Plus 1. I feel you 100%.

Things that help:
1 More RAM.
2 Keeping the internal harddrive of the G5 no more than 75% full.
3 Freezing tracks.

Selling that dual G5 and moving to a mac pro would be good if only I had about $3500.

it's so permanent once bounced tho.. i make changes every time i open a project pretty much.. once i've bounced it i'd probably just get sick of it
