i dunno i think you should pick more serious chords, that have better feelings between them. Sorry i dont know, but i want give you my angle.
maybe it is your intentions with the very happy melodies, but i think it sounds kind of cheesey.

Thanks for the comment . I kind of thought about changing the chord's around a bit to bring out the melody a bit more yeah i feel that little something is missing.

I don't think it sounds especially cheesy compared to other tracks in the uplifting sub-genre, although I guess the progression could use some more tension. On the engineering side this track is clipping horribly. Can you hear that distortion as the kick hits?

I kind of like those drum hits (toms?) in the break. Might be interesting if you could find a way to use those elsewhere in the track.

Cheers for the feedback jives yeah i'm wanting to make Parts of the melody more intense as it progress's, I know the sounds are layered quite badly atm but i aint being focusing on that yet and yeah the kick is badly compressed and equalised atm it's definatly clipping bad with the drumroll and the reverse kick just before the melody.

Hey man I'm a big appreciator of a good uplifting melody and this will be quite good with some tweaking -- the main thing that brings some cheese factor is the melody moves around a little too much. Sometimes its more effective if you keep the synth playing one chord while the bassline shifts underneath, or vice versa. Some of the chords you hit are really nice but the listener has zero time to feel and enjoy it before the synth notes start flitting around again. Just bring an editing eye to it, add more subtlety and I'm sure this will be great

Hey nova i never looked at it like that i made some of the chords to the main melody longer and not change as much and it does seem to have a better more intense feel about it, I'm trying to fit a plucked type guitar sound behindthe melody that does abit of note shifting to make it sound more fuller i'll prolly update this when i think im finally happy with it .

I agree with the other comments, the melody moves around too much but it's a friendly uplifting sound.
