I just posted a simiular thread in music discussion about a film we shot which we're looking to find some original trance music for.
The film is about an exchange student coming to Toronto and falling in love with the rave/club scene. Anyway, we're in post production now but I think we need a few more DJ shots. We have about a half dozen DJs which are shown in a montage basically and throughout the movie. But, I think we need more.
Don't know if anyone would be interested but I'd love to shoot some footage of local DJ's during a regular set. I'm tlaking like 15-30mins. It's basically HD with 35mm film lenses so the cameras are very small yet yeild very filmic results. It would pretty much be free promotion as we hope to distribute it worldwide if we can secure that, and ofcourse the footage we shoot could be used for your own purposes.

Yes true I can get anyone to pretend, but it would be nice to have a live venue, with the lighting and people and actual enviornment. I want it to have as realistic almost docudramaish feel as possible.
Plus maybe there might of been some up and comers who would like more exposure I figured. If not that's cool. Like I said just thought I'd put it out there. If we have to use "actors" we will. I'd rather it be authentic though.

trance is almost non existent in Toronto so good luck with that.
