New Trance Track- Piercing Quiet-Zane Hill

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who celebrates and I hope everyone is doing fantastic. I have been very busy with school and whatnot so it has been hard for me to pump out any quality tracks lately. However, I did finish this one since I am now on holidays.

As always please let me know what you think, feedback is most welcome, (I think the quality on this one is less than my last but oh well :P). P.S. I personally think SoundCloud quality is crap

Piercing Quiet by Zane Hill

Cheers, -Zane

Oh and by the way, i know this probably isn't the proper forum for it, but does anyone do vocals? I'm really looking to collaborate and/or do some remixes. Thanks.

I like this. Good structure and variety. I know very little about mastering so I can't help you much with the sound quality. It could be fine tuned a little better so the patterns blend together better. The first half has much more energy than the second. I don't really care for the gating u used at the end of the last break. This track has a little bit of everything. Good work.

Hey again dude, nice ideas here -- didn't get into as much as Heart of the City, mainly because the melody didn't grab me as much and yeah the mixdown isn't as polished. Had me hooked in the first couple of mins, nice basslines and the clap is great, but it lost me once some of those sharp synths started coming in, just a personal taste thing maybe, I know you're going for an edgier trance sound. Look forward to hearing more material from you now that you've got some time on your hands!

edit: ps you sure you'd want to use an identical track title to the Tritonal song which just came out?

Loads of great ideas in there. I think some tidying up in the EQ would help the overall sound but it's really not that bad at all to really bother about.

There's plenty of decent vocals to be had on acapellas4u. A lot of bad ones as well but it should get you started at least.

I agree, soundcloud does something weird to sound quality. Not as bad as myspace but not as good as soundclick or T61 etc.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I have a long winter break coming up from school so stay tuned in for some (hopefully) quality tracks!

@novastorm- Didn't know they had one titled that! Thanks though, your comments are always appreciated and duly noted.

@bigjimslade002- That's awesome dude! Hopefully I can keep making tracks that are somewhat up to par. XD I'll be listening.

Anyways, without tooting my own horn too much, I'm sitting on some really good material to get down on over break so stay tuned! Happy Holidays.
