That's exactly what I did - during the first 5 minutes I was thinking "WTF is so impressive about this?!", then during the last 5 minutes I thought "ohhhhhhh....OK".

That said, I didn't see any production techniques in there that were very unique or difficult - it's more his knowing where, when, and how much of each processing technique to apply that really makes the final product. That's the part you don't learn from tutorials.
