videos are better. Look up "History of House Music" and "Berliner Trance" if you haven't yet.

I think you especially should watch Berliner Trance.

This is of course if you want insight on dance music culture. I read it in high school (someone else had it & knew I went to raves) & was surprised to see chapters on early acid, detroit techno, & the rookie days of Oakenfold, Frankie Bones, & Fatboy Slim etc.(if I remember correctly).

Not truly what you're looking for, but related depending on how much you want to dig for information. I'd go through what everyone else is posting before thinking about this. I'm going to do some research myself when I have time
