So has anybody else watched the series premiere of CTV's new show The Bridge, which was filmed in Toronto, since it aired a few nights ago? I usually don't watch police dramas on CTV but I decided to give this show a chance. I have to say I am very impressed with the first episode and I believe this series has great potential. Genre-wise, it certainly appears to be similar to The Wire. Quality-wise, it does have an HBO-series kind of feel. At first I wasn't too fond of the actor who plays the lead (Frank Leo) but by the end of the episode I was convinced he's the right person for the roll.

My only worry: because the premier is (necessarily) packed with story development, will the following episodes be 'slower'?
