Yoshitoshi 15th anniversary vs ss4d vs Tenaglia Pool Party?

It's my first wmc and I'm having trouble figuring out which two of those 3 parties to go to. Any input is appreciated

really depends on what you like. if you like a gritty techno scene & music, ss4d is the call. yoshitoshi will be more of a drunken party scene with silly house, and DT will be absolutely fucking stuffed with guidos and their vibe. i've seen DT many times, half were bad, half were amazing. my personal recommendation is see him anywhere -BUT- the new york area & miami (especially during wmc). he was fantastic in ibiza, but blew ass in ny/miami places.

yeah everytime i've seen DT has been fkn great EXCEPT when i saw him in ny where the people just killed it for me and i could only begin to enjoy it after 7am. Ibiza was definitely the best i've seen him play. so if it's gonna be the same in miami as it was in ny i'll pass.

And the yoshitoshi party was mostly to see spektre and a few others.

K so ss4d it is im just not too happy with the set times, particularly calderone from 3-6. He's in montreal every 2 months.

SSFD! This coming from a trance loving person.

I went last year and I loved the vibe and the people there will be 100x better than the people at the other two parties, guaranteed.

Whoa, don't get it twisted, not all NYers are like that! I can't stand the guidos and their crowd. Danny Tenaglia can be good but the crowd ruins it. There are plenty of NYers who will be at SSFD, including me. I thought about dropping by Yoshitoshi and to call it silly house is asinine. Don't knock other genres, if you're not into it fine but there are plenty of people who are.

I spent 10 hours 2 years ago at the Yoshitoshi Space party with Deep DIsh (Ali + Sharam.) By silly house I meant party house. A guetta-ish crowd. Not the DRUGGED up technofiends like you would find at SS4D. I stand by my statement, and it is not asinine.

If you saw Deep Dish @ Space 2 years ago you didn't hear "party house" in the main room for 6 hours. That set alone is what completely flipped me off of Progressive House and right into the Techno hole. Ali was playing nothing but Tech (RPO, Marco Bailey, Huntemann, Shonky, A.Fitzpatrick) and Sharam was dropping a ton of Italian Techno and tracks from the likes of Perc, Cardo and Rocha/Lewinger. Still one of the best sets I've heard over the last 5 years and one of the filthiest looping, building and dropping Tech sets I've witnessed.

Too bad these two don't realize that the sum is better than the parts...

Nah, man. I was just more of a noob back then. It was fantastic, an absolutely AMAZING mainroom Space party. I just like to think I have more refined/precise taste now. (/elitism)

edit: I remember hearing DD drop this track in the mainroom and it was a motherfucking pivotal event in my clubbing life.

Track: All Day - Silicone Soul Darkroom Dub
Artist: Rivera Rotation
Album: Slip 'n' Slide Ibiza - Club Digital 07.01

Easy to find on beatport, but got-damn, I can never forget that moment. Epic.
