Thanks!
Hey Trancers,
Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it!
I've searched through the forums on tranceaddict, looking for online vinyl shops. I looked at:
dancerecords.com
groovetech.com (thanks for recommending MekTek!)
satelliterecords.com
planetxusa.com
chemical-records.com
I didn't find most of the tracks that I was searching for (always out of stock). I was looking for tracks that the big boys lay down in their sets...then I got to thinking...I need to develop my own style, be somewhat innovative, find my own records.
So, I took DJ Chrono's advice, and started looking at some new tracks. Work is slow today, so I was able to spend about 4 1/2 hours listening to new releases on the aforementioned sites. I ended up ordering about 12 new vinyls from satelliterecords (have a great sale and free shipping for orders over $70).
If I see some of the older tracks that I want somewhere down the road, I'll pick them up. Thanks to all that replied, I appreciate the input...and I bookmarked GEMM (thanks DJ Konami...they have everything!) Wish some of the vendors were in the U.S. though

Yeah, the record shop is probably your best bet to hear the newest tunes and pick the ones that you like...digging through the stock crates isn't bad either...you'll be suprised what kinda shit you can dig up(I found a few out of prints and classics just sitting there!)
As for requests, the record shop owner and ebay are your best bets. Ebay can get you alot of the older, hard to find stuff.

First of all, yes, hanging out at a record store and hearing the newest stuff is good cause that way you will find stuff that is not that known and have your own choons. |
Just did that, I sat down and listened to a bunch of producers/lables I've never heard of...I found ALOT of stuff that I like...ended up getting 12 vinyls.

I'll keep that in mind, but now that I took your first piece of advice, I'm out to find undiscovered music!

Thanks! I know they aren't Tech 12's, but I love spinning, and I love my tables!
Are you in Israel? Hope all is well over there, take care of yourself, be careful.
Keep spinning!
