If you do, where can I download some good sound packs? I'd like to use some original sounds rather than the ones that come with the program. Or should I just learn to make my own synths using Sytrus or Nexus or something?

Nexus is a rompler, not a VSTi. Good luck making sounds with it.

I use FL Studio, I only use Soundfonts for stuff like single orchestral sounds when it calls for them. Otherwise, I use VSTis.
