ive just installed reason 2. i havent tocuhed anythuign yet, but i pressed the play button to listen to the default song. i cant hear anyhing!!! is this serious or is it simple?! arf!

The thing is that you should have read the 2 popups which only apear the very first time Reason is started.

it would have toled you to pick your audio and MIDI Perferences, you do this by clicking on Edit/ Preferences, now pull down where it says "General" and now fix up your Audio and MIDI inputs, cause at the moment you have none

read the manual, its all there

dont feel bad i did the same thing. a little overwhelmed at the first sight of it.

If you think that was complicated, just wait until you try and actually create some basic sounds from scratch!

And then think about actually coming up with melodies, basslines, chord progessions, drums, etc etc etc!
