Are we differentiating between snare-attack-builds and snare roll build, and have I missed this differentiation in my novice ineptness?
/twat?
I have examples for both,(used wherever vs. build) and would naturally like to contribute when I get home... without being too much more of an ass-hat than I've already been
Also, I think we need to get rid of snare rolls altogether in lieu of cow-bell rolls.
A cow-bell-attack-build even, if I dare-say... |
Any drum roll, anywhere in the song. It could be on the break, the build, the drop, intro, outro, et al, but it should only be a portion of a song with the build in it and preferably a song which you're not trying to shop as a WIP. And, yes, any form of percussion is acceptable. You don't just have to use snares.
